"This is your opportunity to get involved in the mahi of the Council by standing for one of the hundreds of Maori Committees across Aotearoa
The New Zealand Maori Council holds elections on the last Saturday every three years otherwise known as Triennial Elections. Elections are held as prescribed by the Maori Community Development Act (1962). This microsite will hold specific information ahead of the 2021 Triennial Elections to be held on the last Saturday of February (every three years). These are elections have now been completed. However, questions have been raised about elections results in a number of Maori Committees. The Caretaker Interim Executive looks forward to these matters being concluded as soon as possible.
